Nature and surroundings
Heerhugowaard De Noord is a small village in the city. We live detached with beautiful wide views over the countryside and our garden. You come to us for the peace and quiet and space. Heerhugowaard has a small center. However, we do have the largest indoor shopping center in North Holland. Within 30 minutes (by car) you are at the beach and the sea. Shopping is fun in Alkmaar or Hoorn. West Frisian coziness can be found in Schagen. Amsterdam is 45 minutes away or an hour by public transport (train from Heerhugowaard station).
