Nature house in Holtheme

A lovely new country cottage in beautiful Overijssel, near the German border, near Gramsbergen and Hardenberg. The nature house is in our yard, separated from our own house and therefore completely private. The nature house contains a kitchen, bathroom with rain shower, bedroom-sitting room (connected 1 person beds) is equipped with underfloor heating, TV, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker and all kitchen utensils to prepare a meal. A cozy wood stove pleasantly warms the cottage on cold days. It has a private garden with a view over the countryside. In our yard the chickens walk around nicely and also our cows from their pasture occasionally walk by. The deer, pheasants and hares will also show themselves regularly and if you are lucky a squirrel or a spotted woodpecker. In summer you can enjoy our fruit trees. In short, a cozy cottage, where you can quietly enjoy each other and nature.

Holtheme is a hamlet in the municipality of Hardenberg. Nearby you will find beautiful hiking and biking trails. Beautiful country roads and the Vecht. The Vecht flows into the Netherlands in our hamlet. A walk to the Vecht is certainly worthwhile. Or the small German towns just across the border. Both Gramsbergen and Hardenberg have the necessary stores and there is a lot of fun in the summer. Estate "de Grote Scheere" can be found nearby, with nostalgic farms, the manor house and very old trees. In Gramsbergen we have a brewery with an authentic pub, where you imagine yourself in ancient times. In summer you can relax by the water while enjoying a delicious cold beer. The Pieterpad does not run all the way past our nature house, but it is also not a far detour. Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen is about 25 kilometers away and the Hanseatic city of Zwolle about 48 kilometers. In short, these are a few attractions there are many more.
