Nature house in Alteveer

A beautiful, stylishly decorated yurt equipped with all modern conveniences. Cooking on the skottelbraai, showering with a view, reading a book in the hammock, lighting the little stove in the evening with background music from the record player. We did nothing but relax, go for walks, and relax some more. In the morning, there was a picnic basket at our door with a delicious, extensive breakfast from their own garden; in the evening, we enjoyed the BBQ package with meat from local farmers.
All in all, definitely recommended if you want to unwind and just do nothing.
Kudos to Tamara and her husband for the time and effort they put into making sure their guests have a great time.

Een supermooie, stijlvol ingerichte yurt van alle gemakken voorzien. Koken op de skottelbraai, douchen met uitzicht, boekje lezen in de hangmat, ‘s avonds het kacheltje opstoken met de achtergrondmuziek van de platenspeler. Niks anders gedaan dan relaxen, wandelen en nog eens relaxen. ‘s Ochtends stond er een picknickmand voor onze deur met een heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt uit eigen tuin, ‘s avonds genoten van het bbq pakket met vlees van lokale boeren.
Al met al zeker een aanrader als je tot rust wil komen en lekker niks wil hoeven doen.
Complimenten voor Tamara en haar man voor de tijd/moeite die ze steken om het de gasten naar hun zin te maken.

We had a wonderful time. It’s a truly beautiful, peaceful location with plenty of privacy. You’re right in the middle of nature. The Dwingelerveld and Drents Friese Wold national parks are also just a short drive away.

Super fijne tijd gehad. Echt een prachtige rustige locatie met veel privacy. Je stapt gelijk in de natuur. Niet te ver rijden bevinden zich ook de nationaal parken Dwingelerveld en Drents Friese Wold.

We just returned from a weekend in Tamara & Arjen's super cozy yurt, where we spent a lot of time because of the stormy autumn weather, which was certainly not a punishment! Delicious breakfast that, superdeluxe!, was put on our doorstep at the time of our choice, wood in abundance to warm the yurt all day, pick-up with nice 70's records, and when it was dry, showering outside overlooking the field in autumn colors. What more could one want! Many thanks to Tamara & Arjen for taking such good care of us; really a wonderful place to leave the wild outside world for what it is!

Wij zijn net terug van weekendje in de superknusse yurt van Tamara & Arjen, waar we door ‘t onstuimige herfstweer heel veel tijd hebben doorgebracht, wat bepaald geen straf was! Overheerlijk ontbijtje dat, superdeluxe!, op door ons gekozen tijdstip voor deur werd gezet, hout in overvloed om yurt de hele dag heerlijk warm te stoken, pick-up met fijne jaren ‘70 plaatjes, en áls t even droog was, buiten douchen met uitzicht over t veld in herfstkleuren. Wat wil n mens nog meer! Heel veel dank aan Tamara & Arjen voor goede zorgen; echt n heerlijke plek om de woeste buitenwereld even te laten voor wat ie is!

Super cozy yurt, clean & cozy, lovely bed with fine comforter, fresh flowers & fridge with sparkling water and elderberry syrup, beautiful surroundings: you can't wish for better!

Supergezellig ingerichte yurt, schoon & knus, heerlijk bed met fijn dekbed, verse bloemetjes & koelkastje met prikwater en vlierbessensiroop, prachtige omgeving: beter kun je je niet wensen!

We would definitely come back!

Lovely place, you can walk right into nature from the yurt. The yurt is very comfortable, the stove and warm blankets keep you warm even in mid-October. Breakfast is also highly recommended.

Heerlijke plek, je kunt vanaf de yurt zo de natuur in lopen. De yurt is erg comfortabel, de kachel en warme dekens houden je ook mid-oktober lekker warm. Het ontbijt is ook een aanrader.
