In the hills of Maarkedal, the most beautiful municipality of the Flemish Ardennes, you will find our comfortable safari tent. In a unique spot, in a meadow on an unpaved country road, you imagine yourself alone in the world as you watch the sunset from the terrace in the evening. You regularly see deer, hares and pheasants walking in the surrounding fields. The tent is attractively and cozily furnished and has an equipped kitchen, infrared heating, dining area, bathroom with shower and toilet. There are 2 separate bedrooms, the beds are made! You can park your car near the old soccer field (100m on foot). Booking breakfast is possible (euro 18,- p.p.p.n). There is no Wifi, just 4G and 5G coverage.

Several forests and many hiking and cycling routes in the immediate vicinity make this a perfect place for lovers of peace and nature. The region: In the Flemish Ardennes, you can best explore the surprising, rolling landscape on foot, by bicycle or on horseback. The wooded hilltops, beautiful panoramas and stubborn cobblestone roads on which the annual cycling classics race by offer endless hiking and cycling pleasure. But those who love culture, heritage and gastronomy are also at their beck and call here. Taste the Flemish Ardennes and enjoy Flanders' most beautiful landscape. In 35 minutes you drive to Ghent, in 15 minutes to the charming towns of Oudenaarde and Ronse. It is also possible to rent an electric Fatbike (choose option electric bike) and enjoy touring through the Flemish Ardennes (euro 20 for an afternoon before or after).
