Our beautiful recreation house is for rent. It is located on a small recreation park ( 25 cottages) on a spacious plot of 2000 m2. The house has a spacious living room with open kitchen. View of the forest where you can see many species of birds and squirrels walking in the garden. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 equipped with a double bed of 1.40 by 2.00 and the other bedroom has 2 beds for 1 person. There is a spacious bathroom with shower. Television and wifi are available. There is a coffee maker in the house, no Senseo.
Nature and surroundings
The house borders the forest, the beautiful nature reserve Drouwenerzand , a Natura 2000 area. You can walk here for hours through forest , heath and shifting sands. It is a very quiet area, you will meet few people during your walks. Nearby is the Nije Hemelrijk, a beautiful recreational lake in forestry Gieten - Borger. Here are also many mountain bike trails. Fantastic house, spacious and bright, lovely views of nature. Because the sheep were loose, access to the area immediately adjacent to the park with dog, even on a leash, was not possible. Understandable, but unfortunate. Walking around the area was fine, the roads around it are very quiet. The Wifi in the house does not always work. Some apps or sites could not be launched. At first I thought it was due to my mobile or provider, but a small walk away from the house, gave access to websites right away again. There might be something with the accessibility or speed of the Wifi connection or a restriction to certain secure sites like the bank.
