From your accommodation, you can walk right onto the unpaved sandy paths and a beautiful hiking trail. You can also hop on a bike and head straight to the unique nature reserve Het Oerd. Layout of the cottage: • Ground floor: A bright living room with an open kitchen and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. • Upper floor: The bedroom with a double bed, an extra third bed, and a crib. Please note: the staircase to the upper floor is quite steep. Fenced-in private garden: The garden is fully fenced, making it perfect for dogs. There’s a covered seating area where you can relax outdoors and a handy shed for safely storing your bikes. Additional services: Would you like to explore the island by bike? The ultimate island experience: Perfect for nature lovers While our cottage isn’t located in the middle of the forest or the dunes, it is situated on the outskirts of the village of Buren, on the expansive eastern side of Ameland. As soon as you step off the property, you’ll have plenty of space to walk or bike. An established hiking trail runs right past your doorstep. A little further on begins the impressive UNESCO World Heritage nature reserve “Het Oerd,” where you can spend hours wandering around, getting some fresh air, and enjoying the unspoiled island nature.
