Need to unwind for a while? This already starts when you drive up the long driveway to the cottage. The cottage is hidden among the trees with a huge garden. Completely made of wood, you imagine yourself in a real Swiss chalet. Upon entering you can smell the scent of wood. You enter the huge living room with wood-burning stove. This is used to heat the house. Here you will find the lovely sitting area, large dining table, beautiful antique desk and spacious bookcase filled with a wide range of game and reading and puzzle books. The bedroom is found behind the French doors and is on the garden side. From the living room you walk into the separate kitchen equipped with stove, combi-oven, washer and dryer, refrigerator and freezer. From the kitchen you enter the 2nd bedroom with double bed and a wall closet. There is no central heating. However, there is a heating unit that blows warm air to provide some additional heating. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located just outside the center of Horn. Here you will find a Spar for all your daily groceries. In the center of Horn you will find a completely intact, inhabited, ring-walled castle dating from the 10th century with beautiful castle park. Within walking distance of the cottage is a sauna center. With 3 cafes, 2 restaurants, 2 fritures and a pizzeria, there is always something to do in Horn. You walk within minutes on the Beegderheide for a beautiful walk or bike around the Maasplassen and enjoy all the natural beauty that Horn and surroundings have to offer. If you prefer a day of shopping you can easily go by car, bike or bus to Roermond where the famous Designer Outlet center is located or explore the picturesque city center.
