Nature and surroundings
Our vacation home is located in a quiet and beautifully green setting. It’s the perfect base for lovely bike rides, hikes, and day trips. Ootmarsum, Denekamp, Oldenzaal, and Nordhorn are all within biking distance. These are wonderful places to explore and visit for shopping or to relax on a sidewalk café. The Singraven, Lutterzand, and Springendal nature reserves are easily accessible. They’re wonderful places for hiking and biking. Twente is a beautiful region where you can fully enjoy the peace and open spaces, the characteristic Twente hedgerows, and the fantastic natural surroundings.

Nice little house
Fijn huisje
A very nice nature house, fully equipped and nicely decorated. Outdoor seating areas with tables all around. Quiet location. Bicycles are stored in the shared shed area of the house. Beautiful view. Hares (large and small), free-range chickens, and various birds, including a great spotted woodpecker in the tree next to the cottage. We forgot our binoculars, but highly recommend bringing them along. A beautiful rolling landscape perfect for biking.
The owners are easygoing and friendly; they don’t impose themselves but are available when needed.
We enjoyed a week in northeastern Twente with this cottage as our home base.

Prachtig uitzicht. Hazen (groot en klein), scharrelende kippen, diverse vogels waaronder een grote bonte specht in de boom naast het huisje. Verrekijker vergeten maar aan te bevelen om mee te nemen. Prachtig coulissen landschap om te fietsen.
Makkelijke, aardige eigenaren die zich niet opdringen en bereikbaar zijn als het nodig is.
We hebben genoten van een week in NO Twente met dit huisje als thuisbasis.
