Step from the house directly into nature: barn owls, hares, deer, storks, egrets, etc. can be observed from the terrace. For the children there are outdoor toys and a playground.Daily shopping can be obtained from three supermarkets in nearby villages such as Elim or Hollandsche Veld, where there are also restaurants and bicycles can be rented. The wooded area and many cycling and hiking routes will show you the most beautiful places in Drenthe. A fishing pond and recreation area Schoonhoven is within walking distance (3 km.) or 5autominutes away. Hoogeveen, Emmen (Wildlands) and Coevorden are the larger towns nearby, where you can enjoy shopping or a terrace. Nearest bus stop is 1.5 km.
