Nature house in Westdorp

On the outskirts of Westdorp, is our farm with next to it the nature house. The nature house has been rebuilt, from the former boiler house where people used to bake bread and later housed the young cattle. Now the cottage is equipped with all conveniences. It has a cozy living area with a fully equipped kitchen (including, coffee, tea and basic spices) overlooking the fields.The cottage has a spacious bedroom, with a double bed and a bedroom with bunk beds. The bathroom has a wonderful (rain) shower, sink and toilet. A private garden gives you every opportunity to enjoy your peace and quiet. To make your stay truly authentic, you can enjoy the products offered by the farm. Such as eggs from the chickens, milk and yogurt from the goats, vegetables/fruit from the vegetable garden and orchard. Also living there are dogs, cats, pigs, geese and two ducks. Please feel free to take a look or lend a hand.

West Village has a close-knit community and offers a relaxed lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle. In addition to rest and relaxation, the area also offers many attractions and activities. A five-minute drive away is the "Hunebed capital" Borger with all kinds of amenities and restaurants. The nature around Westdorp, such as the National Geopark the Hondsrug, attracts hikers, cyclists and nature lovers. Other attractions to visit are for example, the Hunebed Center, Wildlands, Ellert and Brammert, Kabouterland or the sheep herd Exloo, watchtower Poolhoogte and the Boomkroonpad. Would you rather be active? Then you can take a dip in the forest lake in Ellertshaar, mountain biking in the forest or climbing in the Outdoor Experience Park Joytime. Also, a tour in the area is possible with a Carver or Chopper from Eko-Tours. In bad weather you can visit the tropical swimming pool "Hunzerdal" in Borger or go shopping in Assen, Emmen or Groningen.
