The accommodation is fully equipped and has a fully equipped kitchen. There is WIFI, a television with a chromecast and there are Sonos boxes. It is suitable for everyone - especially those who are wheelchair-bound and/or need adapted facilities. The living room/kitchen is therefore also nice and spacious and has a French door to the lovely south-facing terrace. The bedroom on the ground floor has a ceiling elevator and two "high-low" beds. You can choose between a regular mattress or a care mattress. If you do not need these facilities you will not notice their presence.On the second floor you will find two quiet bedrooms and a toilet. One bedroom has a double bed and 1 bedroom has two single beds that can also be used as a double bed.
Nature and surroundings
You will stay on our estate, in the middle of the beautiful nature reserve Markdal and a stone's throw away from the Mastbos. On the estate is a National Monumental long-gabled farmhouse and a restored Bakhuis. De Vlaamsche Schuur was rebuilt in 2021 and houses not only a vacation accommodation (with adapted facilities) but also the non-profit social enterprise 'Dagverrijking'. Which provides intensive weekday supervision for up to 8 people with severe physical and/or mental disabilities. With us, the meeting of people with and without disabilities is central. That makes this place extra unique!
