Our vacation home is nestled in the heart of one of the ancient forests of Northwest Drenthe. It’s a wonderful place to unwind and recharge. Spend a whole day reading in the garden or relaxing on the couch, or take a lovely walk in the woods followed by a leisurely meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. And if you’re in the mood for a bit more action, the center of Norg—with its many outdoor cafes and great restaurants—is within walking distance, and the cities of Assen (15 km) and Groningen (20 km) are also nearby. Our cottage is also a great base for running and mountain biking enthusiasts. Since we spend a lot of time there ourselves, we’ve furnished the cottage just the way we like it.
