The mountain bike arena around Winterberg enjoys great popularity. There is also an excellent network of hiking trails (including the Rothaarsteig) through the gentle mountain landscape with fantastic views, endless forests and sunny valleys. Due to the special stimulating climate, hiking in Winterberg is doubly healthy (climatic health resort).
