The 6 person nature house is located in the forest on a small nature park. With 660m2 of land and a sheltered south-facing garden, the outdoors is great for sun and shade and bird sounds. The cottage has private parking and adjacent parking for an additional car. The cottage is fully equipped including TV (Ziggo, Netflix) and Wi-Fi internet access, 5-burner gas stove, Delonghi espresso machine, combi oven, spacious fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs is one room with double bed and one room with 3 single beds. Downstairs is an extra room with space for an extra bed (on request). There is a folding crib, 1 high chair and 1 triptrap available and a stair gate. You can bring 1 pet provided it stays downstairs. There is a fence around the garden terrace so your pet can be outside. In the barn there are 2 bicycles that you can use for free.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a quiet and peaceful nature park with no further amenities. Only during the summer holiday weeks and during the Whitsun weekend take into account the noise of children playing in the pool at the adjacent campsite the Vossenburcht. Heading south you can walk / cycle through the Staphorster Forest where you include swimming pond "the black pines" and other beautiful fens find many bike paths and a 25km mountain bike route. On the north side you walk/cycle into the Reest valley, an ancient small-scale landscape with woods, heathland, hay fields and old farms with an interesting history. The Reest meanders through the landscape largely in its original form. Be surprised by the variation in the landscape. In 30 minutes drive you are in beautiful water nature reserve "the Wieden" (including Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Weerribben). In short, and top opportunities to enjoy beautiful authentic Dutch nature.
