Your own detached cottage on a former farm on a rural road with beautiful unobstructed views over the meadows. Who wouldn't want that? It also used to make cheese and butter and was a "schafthuisje" in the summer. In 2022 it was newly built with old elements of the former cottage. The nature house consists of ground floor and upper floor. On the ground floor are a sitting area with gas fireplace, dining table, kitchen (boiling water tap filter coffee, induction cooking), bathroom, bedroom and bedstead. Upstairs there are 2 single beds and a desk. The cottage has both (floor) heating and air conditioning so the temperature is always pleasant. From the doors you walk directly onto your terrace (+ gas fireplace) where you can enjoy the panoramic view. The terrace with dining table (6p.) offers both morning and afternoon sun. In warm and nice weather you can swim (May-Oct) in our pool (10x4m). Here you will enjoy cosiness, peace and comfort.
Nature and surroundings
't Kaashuisje is located in the middle of the Green Heart on the outskirts of Alphen aan den Rijn and against the municipality of Nieuwkoop. We have a rabbit and a dog (anti-allergenic). From the cottage you can make wonderful cycling and walking tours through nature that lead you to the most beautiful places around Alphen aan den Rijn. Nearby are the green recreational area Zegerplas, the Old Rhine, Golfclub Zeegersloot, Avifauna and Archeon. Nearby are the lake areas Braassemermeer, Langeraarse plassen, Nieuwkoopse plassen and Westeinderplassen. About a half-hour drive away are the cities of Leiden, Gouda, Delft, Utrecht, Haarlem, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. The North Sea and the Keukenhof in Lisse (open annually from late March to mid-May) are also easily accessible.
