Connected by a courtyard are our house and the guesthouse in the Fruit Garden. The guesthouse has a simply equipped kitchen including a combination microwave, washer and dryer. In the living room there is a TV , some tourist info and games. In the bedroom the beds are made and in the bathroom there are plenty of towels. In the Fruit Garden guests can pick fruit.....naturally depending on the season. You can walk all over the yard and possibly find a nice place to "sit".In the guesthouse you can stay completely self-sufficient. Of course, coffee and tea are ready for you. 2 km away is the village Schoonoord where you will find all amenities....supermarket, bakery, drugstore and a few eateries. Also Westerbork, Orvelte, Aalden/Zweeloo are within cycling distance 5-10 km. There are 2 bicycles ready for guests. The arrival and departure times can be adjusted in consultation.
Nature and surroundings
The Pieterpad, forestry Sleenerzand are a short distance....ca 5a 10-minute walk. The recreation park in the village offers numerous sporting opportunities. Orvelte and Schoonoord offer tourist attractions. A little further away 18 km is Emmen. For cyclists and hikers, our guesthouse is an ideal base.De Fruittuin also has an apiary in the yard....with interest, the beekeeper can tell something about the beehives.

Very nice stay in a quiet place. Wine and fruit on arrival, further you were allowed to pick what you wanted in the garden. Also bikes to borrow and friendly hosts.
Heel fijn verblijf op een rustige plek. Wijn en fruit bij aankomst, verder mocht je plukken in de tuin wat je wilde. Ook fietsen te leen en vriendelijke gastvrouw en heer.
