As you drive up the dirt road, you may feel like you are lost, but nothing could be further from the truth: the beautiful wooden Boshuisje is the reward. Once inside, you will experience the bright and relaxed atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen with, among other things, a dishwasher, Nespresso, oven and cozy bar top is connected to the sitting and dining area that gives an unobstructed view of the meadows. The wooden dining table by the window is a wonderful place to enjoy an extensive meal, read the newspaper or play games. Through a sliding door you reach the bedroom with two single beds that can be easily pushed apart. Kitchen, bath and bed linen are included. Nature and surroundings
The agricultural hamlet of Speuld borders a breathtaking nature reserve where you are immersed in natural beauty in its purest form! Wild boar, deer, roe deer, foxes and many birds are permanent residents. Within cycling and walking distance of Ermelo, Putten and Garderen, there is plenty of choice to explore the cozy villages. You can wander to your heart's content on your own through the woods that surround the Boshuisje. From the front door of the Boshuisje you can also walk straight onto the Speulderpad: a wooden shoes path of 16 km (shortened route is 13km) that leads you over breathtaking hiking trails. From the Boshuisje you easily connect to many challenging mountain bike trails. The area around Speuld has a wide range of bicycle routes that lead you past historical highlights and small villages.

It was absolutely fantastic here. The cottage had everything you need for a weekend like this. Jenne and Merel were super nice and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to the Veluwe!

A wonderful, peaceful place. You were all alone on the edge of the forest. When we walked into the forest, it felt like we had a beautiful private forest all to ourselves for the first 10 minutes! The nature surrounding the house is great for walking.

For us, this was the perfect base in the countryside; it’s really secluded on the edge of the forest, so you can walk right into the woods or out onto the heath and spend hours hiking there. The cottage is also great—they’ve thought of everything, and the owners are incredibly hospitable, so we’ll definitely be back!
Voor ons was dit de perfecte uitvalsbasis in de natuur, het ligt echt super afgelegen aan de rand van het bos, dus je loopt zo het bos in/ de heide op en kunt er dan uren wandelen.
