Nature house in Mill

Nice cabin, built on stilts above a sheep pasture. The sheep can also be fed, very nice :). Beds are comfortable, maybe a bit on the short side for tall people. Well furnished with dining table and sofa. Amenities good, good plumbing, excellent pellet stove, small fridge and coffee and tea makers. Plates, cups and cutlery also plentiful. Other kitchen utensils we did miss (stirring spoons etc). Cooking outside on coal or a wood fire is fun and doable, fine set of cast iron pans. In case of rain there is no opportunity to cook inside, microwave available further down the road.

Leuke hut, gebouwd op palen boven een schapenweide. De schaapjes mogen ook gevoerd worden, erg leuk :).
De bedden zijn comfortabel, misschien wat aan de korte kant voor lange mensen. Goed gemeubileerd met eettafel en zitbank.
Voorzieningen goed, goed sanitair, prima pelletkachel, koelkastje en koffie- en theezetters. Borden, bekers en bestek ook ruim voldoende aanwezig. Overig keukengerei misten we wel (roerlepels etc).
Buiten koken op kolen of een houtvuurtje is leuk en goed te doen, prima set gietijzeren pannen.
Bij regen is er geen gelegenheid om binnen te koken, wel magnetron beschikbaar verderop.

Spacious location, free view over the field of the campsite, free from the other house next door. Regularly the flock of guinea fowls comes over to have a look. Small minus point are the practice flights from Volkel that come over now and then, but this is not daily and limited to 2 or 3 flights at the end of the morning. Environment is nice, with a bicycle / walking route along WW II remains and a forest. Enough activities in the area.

Ruime ligging, vrij uitzicht over het veld van de camping, vrij van het andere huisje ernaast. Geregeld komt de troep parelhoenders even kijken.

Klein minpuntje zijn de oefenvluchten vanaf Volkel die af en toe overkomen, maar dit is niet dagelijks en beperkt tot 2 a 3 vluchten eind van de ochtend.

Omgeving is leuk, met een fiets-/wandelroute langs WO II overblijfselen en een bos.

Genoeg activiteiten in de omgeving.

Super nice time had.

We had a very nice time in the "sheep cabin. When you wake up the sheep are already waiting to be fed. In the evening there is a campfire on the field where you can sit if you want. You can also make your own small campfire, which gave us a very nice camping feeling.

Wij hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad in de 'schaapshut'. Wanneer je wakker wordt staan de schaapjes al te wachten om gevoerd te worden. In de avond is er een kampvuur op het veld waar je bij kan zitten als je wilt. Ook kan je zelf een klein kampvuur maken, hierdoor kregen wij een heel fijn kampeer gevoel.

Great fun cabin in a beautiful spot near the forest. Sleep in a box bed, cook on the campfire and wake up to the muttering of the sheep next door. The cabin is fully equipped, although you need good weather for cooking. But otherwise there is something to eat nearby. The stove is wonderfully warm and it is spacious enough for the three of you to stay.

Geweldig leuke hut op een mooie plek vlakbij het bos. Slapen in een bedstee, koken op het kampvuur en wakker worden van het gemekker van de schapen naast je. De hut is van alle gemakken voorzien, al heb je voor het koken wel goed weer nodig. Maar anders is er in de buurt wel iets te eten te halen. De kachel is heerlijk warm en het is ruim genoeg om met z'n drieën te vertoeven.
