Our B&B is situated in a former stable in the countryside of Boxtel. It is a studio of about 40 m2 with its own shower, toilet and kitchen. The space offers sleeping places for 4 to max. 6 persons. It is an open studio with one closed bedroom by sliding doors and one bedroom is on the (open) loft. The sofa bed is in the living area. You have a private entrance and the B&B is fully equipped for a pleasant stay (combi microwave, wifi, smart TV, heating). Dorien & Ellis are the hostesses and in consultation they fill the fridge (€10,- pp per breakfast) but you are also free to bring your own breakfast. You have your own terrace but you may use the entire outdoor area of D'n Hop. If you want you can use the barbecue and in bad weather you can have drinks, barbecue, smoke indoors at our garden house.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located between the farmlands in a traditionally farming environment. Nature reserve the Kampina and the Oisterwijk woods and fens are within walking and biking distance and in this area there are beautiful cycling and walking routes. The Kampina is a rugged nature reserve with vast heathlands, forests and shifting sands. The Essche stream flows nearby and there is the possibility to sail across it in a canoe. Bicycles and canoes can be rented for €10.00 per person per day. A stone's throw away you will find castle Nemelaer and a little further you come to Oisterwijk where you can have a delicious meal or drink on the terrace. Also Boxtel has several restaurants and cafes where you can have a nice stay. In Boxtel you have the prehistoric time museum, recreational lake De Langspier and also the Beekse Bergen (12 km) and the Efteling (16 km) are worth visiting.
