Nature house in Gennep

Wake up in the middle of nature from a unique country house: our Ger. It stands in our beautiful estate full of life: birdsong, chickens and cats running around, sheep bleating, children playing, edible plants and lots of green in our forest, fields and vegetable garden. In the Ger you can relax on the couch by the wood stove or in the comfortable double bed. A Ger is much more than a tent! It is warm indoor and real outdoor living in 1. In this Mongolian nomad house, you fire the stove on wood inside. At the same time you wake up to the sounds of birds around you. We have decorated our Ger tastefully for you. There is a comfortable double bed and a narrow single bed. There is also a sitting area, dining table and (for added convenience:-) a kettle. Of course we provide bedding, and if desired extra blankets. It is very nice if you tzt indicate what time you expect to arrive!

Our site is in the middle of nature. We are near the river Niers and of course the river Maas. National Park the Maasduinen is 6 kilometers to the south, but actually with us they are also Maasduinen.The Pieterpad runs a few hundred meters away and this is an ideal place if you are walking it.Gennep is a cute town with the world famous storks of Beleef de Lente on the town hall. It is 3 kilometers, you can borrow a bike (or tandem).Furthermore you are within an hour by bike or half an hour by car in cozy Nijmegen.Oh yes, we are Workaway/Wwoof-host, which means that volunteers from all over the world come to help us in for example the garden or our construction projects with materials from the forest. You share the other rooms with these volunteers.It is important to use a biodegradable soap when showering. If you do not have one, we have it available for you.
