A cozy double apartment is Oosterend the last village in the middle of the island of Terschelling. The apartment is located on the first floor. The living room has a lovely sofa where you can relax after a day exploring the island. There is a flatscreen television and a radio cd player. The kitchen is an open kitchen with a dining table just off the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with 2 burner induction hob, dishwasher, nespresso, filter coffee maker, oven, kitchen linen and the standard kitchen inventory. The bedroom has 2 single beds facing each other, the beds are already made on arrival and there are towels for you. There is also a shower and toilet in the apartment. You can use the many terraces on the property also the dryer and washing machine you can use for free. The apartment is located in Oosterend this is a small village in the middle of the island Terschelling but the last village the rest of the island is nature reserve. From the terrain you can walk into the dune area which is about 2.5 kilometers after which you will reach the North Sea beach. You can also reach the beach by road. Unesco World Heritage Site Wadden Sea is 300 meters away. This area is known for its birds and other animals that live here and the tides ebb and flow. There is also a bicycle path outside the dike which is really enjoyable when the tide is out because then you cycle along the feeding place of the birds. On a clear evening it is really a must to look up outside because you are near the Dark sky park and from here you can sometimes even see the Milky Way. De Boschplaat nature reserve is one kilometer away with unique fauna and flora. The shopping is in Midsland at 8 km or on West Terschelling at 13 km the nearest supermarket is at 3 km

Yet General rating:For us, this was our first time visiting a nature house, so we have no comparison material.
Voor ons was dit de eerste keer dat wij een natuurhuisje bezochten, dus we hebben geen vergelijkingsmateriaal.
Nature, peace & environment:At first, upon arrival, the nature house looked more like a cottage in a park(s). But after a day's stay there appeared to be real peace and quiet. You saw and heard no other people. The space around was well distributed with separate seating areas and bike racks. Nature was really close; on a dune road and you rode your bike (or walked) to the beach. The only thing we heard in the morning was the cooing of pigeons.
In eerste instantie leek bij aankomst het natuurhuisje meer op een huisje op een park(je). Maar na een dag vertoeven bleek er werkelijke rust te zijn. Je zag en hoorde geen andere mensen. De ruimte rondom was goed verdeeld met afzonderlijke zitjes en fietsenstallingen. De natuur was werkelijk dichtbij; aan een duinweggetje en je reed zo op fiets ( of lopend) naar het strand.

Nature, peace & environment:Fantastische plek! Rondom het huisje zelf lag een prachtige tuin waar verschillende zithoekjes waren. Je fietst of wandelt zo de duinen in. Heerlijk rustige omgeving.
