Nature house in Schiermonnikoog

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay. Watch out for the seagulls; in a moment of inattention, our cookies suddenly vanished from the table.

We hadden een heerlijk verblijf in de rust. Pas op voor de meuwen; in een onbewaakt ogenblik waren opeens onze koeken van het tafeltje foetsie.

Very friendly welcome. Tent with comfortable beds and plenty of space for luggage. Exceptionally clean restrooms. If all the tents on the field are occupied, it can feel a bit crowded. There was a school class staying in the group accommodations, but the disruption was minimal. Conveniently located: close to the ferry terminal and away from the hustle and bustle of the village.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Tent met lekkere bedden en genoeg ruimte voor bagage. Uitzonderlijk schoon sanitair. Als alle tenten op het veld bezet zijn, kan het wel vol voelen. Er was een schoolklas in de groepsaccomedatie, maar de last daarvan bleef binnen de perken. Gunstig gelegen: vlakbij de veerhaven en ver van de drukte rond het dorp.

Stay was good: really camping, but you don't have to bring your own camping gear: super convenient . For two nights it was fine. For longer stays I would look for something more comfortable.

Verblijf was goed: wel echt kamperen, maar je hoeft zelf geen kampeerspullen mee te nemen: superhandig . Voor twee nachtjes prima. Om langer te verblijven zou ik zelf toch iets meer comfort zoeken

Nice tent on a quiet farm campsite. Schiermonnikoog is a beautiful island, especially for cycling or hiking and enjoying nature.

Leuke tent op een rustige boeren camping. Schiermonnikoog is een prachtig eiland, vooral om te fietsen of te wandelen en te genieten van de natuur.

Between the grassy area where the tents are and the sanitary building is a concrete path where heavy vehicles regularly drive by. I have noticed that people drive quite fast on this narrow path. Since there are small children running around the campground, and it is sometimes difficult to see from the concrete path whether someone is crossing, I think it would be a good idea to see if something can be done about the visibility of pedestrians.

Tussen het grasveld waar de tenten staan en het sanitairgebouw ligt een betonpad waar regelmatig zware voertuigen langs rijden. Het is mij opgevallen dat op dit smalle pad best hard wordt gereden. Aangezien er kleine kinderen op de camping rondrennen, en vanaf het betonpad soms lastig te zien is of iemand oversteekt, lijkt het mij een goed idee om te kijken of er iets aan de zichtbaarheid van voetgangers gedaan kan worden.

The tent was not very big, but fine to sleep in for a week. Thanks to the summer weather, as well as the placement of the tent itself, you were burned out of the tent from 7:30 in the morning. That was annoying, though. Other than that, the stay was fine. The plumbing was also fine.

De tent was niet heel groot, maar prima om een week in te slapen. Dankzij het zomerse weer, maar ook door de plaatsing van de tent zelf, werd je vanaf half 8 's ochtends uit de tent gebrand. Dat was wel vervelend. Voorderest was het verblijf fijn. Het sanitair was ook in orde.
