The house is located in Val Baganza in a very secluded setting at 950 meters within a farm that produces vegetables, saffron and berries. Guests have access to a ground-floor studio apartment with a kitchenette, living and sleeping area and an outdoor space equipped with a table, deck chairs and barbecue. The bathroom also has a shower and hot water. On the farm, in addition to the two owners, there are two dogs, two cats and a donkey.Guests can buy produce from the garden every day.
Nature and surroundings
From the house, surrounded by oak and beech forests, and it is possible to make stupendous hikes along the Apennine ridge where the mountains reach an altitude of 1,500 meters. One kilometer away is the Baganza stream where you can find numerous natural pools. About 25 km away is the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines; it is also possible to reach the beaches of the Ligurian Sea and the Cinque Terre in less than an hour's drive.

The apartment has everything you need, especially the kitchen is well-equipped with a gas stove and electric oven. We had a large private space within the garden. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Annalisa and Rosy are passionate producers and love to share their knowledge and the secrets about growing saffron which is authentic and fascinating but they are also incredibly kind hosts who where available whenever we needed them and they made our stay even more unforgettable.
This was one of the most awesome places we had for holidays. Emilia-Romagna in autumn is really something special and Anna-Lisa's and Rosy's little farm is without doubt the best place to experience that. It is located on a calm and beautiful hill with a lovely view on the valley of Baganza, however within 10min by car you can find great Osterias, sweet little bars and awesome producers of local products such as Parmigiano Reggiano, vegetables, porcini and truffle. Moreover there are some nice little basins with clear water of the creek under a beautiful ancient Roman bridge which offer great possibilities to cool-down on hot days or after hiking/mountainbike tours.
