Nature house in Maarn

Come relax on our Estate. On top of the Utrecht Ridge stands this cozy cottage with unobstructed views of the forest. The estate with heather and forest is home to deer, hares, foxes and badgers. Next to the house chickens scratch (no rooster) which you immediately benefit from upon arrival at the cottage: fresh eggs! The house is 100m2 and can accommodate 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double box spring and a room with a bunk bed for 3 people. The lower part of the bunk bed is 1.40 wide and suitable for 2 adults. In the living room there is a sofa bed for 2 people. The house further consists of a cozy, spacious living room with sitting area, dining table and kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and kettle. Next to the bedrooms you will find a spacious bathroom with a shower and a bathtub. For small children there is a camp bed, high chair and rocker available.

The Utrechtse Heuvelrug has a very diverse nature. On and around the estate alone there is a great diversity of nature: heathland, rolling meadows, sand hills and forest. Every day you can spot deer, hares, the spotted woodpecker and other forest birds. And with luck you'll spot a fox or badger. Do you like to be active? You can enjoy yourself here. There are hiking trails, mountain bike trails and bridle paths. 10 minutes away (car / bike) is the Henschotermeer with blue swimming water and play equipment for children. But also the Doornse gat and Sint Helenaheuvel are beautiful places nearby to visit. In the nearby villages of Maarn (train station) and Doorn are several stores, restaurants and places of interest, such as Huis Doorn. The place of exile of the last German Emperor. Looking for more culture or shopping? Amersfoort and Utrecht are both 20 minutes away by car.
