For a (short) vacation, or just a quick getaway, we’re offering our detached vacation home—approximately 40 m²—for rent, accommodating up to 2 people. Located on the outskirts of Hoogwoud, North Holland; near Alkmaar, Schagen, and Medemblik. Enjoy the beautiful West Frisian surroundings to the fullest—go hiking, biking, and/or fishing. Parking is available next to the cottage. There’s a patio out back, complete with a patio set, 1 table, 4 chairs, and cushions. The cottage is fully equipped and offers a beautiful view of the West Frisian countryside. Inside, you’ll find a dining area, a sofa, a TV, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, gas stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, cutlery, etc. Also provided as standard: coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, 1 spice jar, dish soap, cleaning supplies, and laundry detergent. Bathroom with shower and toilet, including towels. On the first floor: a bedroom with a double bed, complete with made-up bedding and pillows, and a washing machine. We had an absolutely wonderful time! Even though our stay was very short, we enjoyed a lovely, peaceful time surrounded by nature, among the adorable animals, and with an incredibly warm welcome from Dick and Marjolein. It’s a wonderful place to spend a relaxing day in the fully equipped cottage, but also a perfect base for visiting places like Medemblik or Schoorl. Thanks again so much! :-)

Ondanks dat ons verblijf erg kort was, hebben we een hele fijne en rustige tijd gehad, midden in het omliggende groen, tussen de lieve dieren en met een ontzettend warm welkom van Dick en Marjolein. Een geweldige plek om een ontspannen dag in het compleet uitgeruste huisje door te brengen, maar ook een perfecte uitvalsbasis om plaatsen zoals Medemblik of Schoorl te bezoeken.
