In the forests of Wateren and on the border of the national park Drents-Friese Wold you arrive at this cozy nature house. Here you have your own spacious garden (1700m²!) which is completely fenced, overlooking a meadow. The nature lover can enjoy the wildlife. For example, hares, badgers, martens, foxes and many other mammals walk in the meadow and in our garden! The nature house includes a living room with sitting and dining area and an open kitchen (combination microwave, coffee maker with cups). You will find one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds, both with closet space. The small bathroom has a shower and fixed sink. There is nice high-speed wireless internet and a large color TV. The bungalow has double glazing, central heating with hot water. There is also a furnished terrace and a picnic table in the garden. There is a washing machine.
Nature and surroundings
Our cottage is part of a small forest park and is located between the towns of Appelscha, Diever and Vledder, near Zorgvlied. The area is very quiet and rural. You will find the most beautiful forests, heaths, shifting dunes and fens. From our cottage you can walk to the famous Doldersumse Veld. But there are also plenty of cozy eateries nearby! You can swim in the nearby Canada Lake. By car you are so in Frederiksoord, which is on the Unesco World Heritage List. In the forests of Diever and Appelscha are several mountain bike trails.
