Come to the perfect place to relax in your own country. In our house on the Meuse you stay in the Brabant countryside. Go hiking in nature reserve 'De Hemelrijkse Waard' (walking distance). Cycle along the Maasdijk past pretty villages. Visit nice restaurants nearby. Go drink special beers at the local brewery of Oijen. Visit the sculpture garden of a gallery next door. And much more! In short: enjoy everything our lovely place has to offer.
Nature and surroundings
You will stay in a lovely, very bright, apartment on the second floor in a renovated farmhouse, overlooking the beautiful green surroundings. You have your own private entrance and can park your car on private property. Upon entering the apartment you will find a (private) hall with coat rack and immediately on the right the stairs to the second floor. The upstairs hall gives access to the living room, toilet and spacious bathroom with shower, sink and washing machine. In the living room-kitchen you have a beautiful green view on three sides over the dike, all the trees in the area, the meadows with grazing horses. The room is incredibly light because of its two large dormers. In this space you will find the kitchen with large cooking island, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. In addition, a spacious dining area for six people and a cozy sitting area with a sofa bed. The sofa bed from Emma Mattresses is suitable for two people (160x200). The bedroom with 2-person bed and work area can be reached from the living room.

3 days in advance the owner contacts you with the message not to kill the flies on her white walls, you then wonder why she does not explicitly mention in her ad on nature house that the fly problem and odor nuisance. When you enter the cottage the fly swatters are already there. If this had been communicated in advance we would never have booked. After 5 days we were so fed up with the flies that we left. Owner argues that we should have called her so she could have taken action, we argue that she did not give proper information in advance about the situation. Further communication should go through nature house, she thinks, running away from your responsibility I call it.
