At the back of our property, 100 meters from our farm, hidden behind bushes and trees, is our hiker's hut. You get to the hiker's hut via a grassy path that of course can be a bit muddier in wet periods. It is a small cozy cabin and decorated with love and attention to detail. Because of its tucked away location, it offers a lot of privacy. You also have a green terrace in front of your door including a fire pit. Between the trees you have a view over the fields. The cabin has a mini-kitchenette with only cold running water. Near the cabin is a compost toilet and in our farmhouse (100m away) we have a modern toilet and shower and sink with hot and cold running water. The cabin can be heated in winter time with a patio heater hanging in the cabin. We have deliberately chosen not to have outdoor lighting at the cabin. However, there is a good flashlight available.
