Nature house in Zeegse

Located on the edge of the forest and heathland, this beautiful family home sits on its own lot and features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely, child-friendly (fenced) garden. From the garden, you can walk right out onto the heath, and with a little luck, the sheep from the Schipborg flock will be visiting. Suitable for up to 8 people. There is a spacious, very bright living room, kitchen, and pantry equipped with a dishwasher, oven/microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, and dryer. Downstairs is one bedroom with a king-size bed, air conditioning, and a private bathroom (tub and shower). Upstairs, there is a bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet, as well as three bedrooms, one of which has a crib. The house is rented without towels or bedding; all duvets are single-size 140x200, and fitted sheets are 90x200. The vacation home is ideal for a large family. The yard features a swing, a playhouse, a sandbox, and a trampoline. For babies: bottle warmer, high chair, changing pad, stair gate, and crib. Not available for groups of teenagers or students.

The house is located right next to the Zeegserduinen, part of the Drentse Aa National Park. There are three excellent restaurants and cafes just a stone’s throw away. Cyclists and hikers (the house is located on the Pieterpad) will find plenty to enjoy in this area, but there are also plenty of other recreational options: Zuidlaren is within cycling distance and is a charming village with a central green and many amenities (including the nearest supermarket). Groningen and Assen are a 20-minute drive away, and for swimmers and sailors, the Zuidlaardermeer is also a 20-minute drive away. Tourist attractions include Wildlands Emmen, the Fairytale Forest with a playground in Zuidlaren, Klimpark Grolloo, the Groninger Museum in—yes, that’s right… Groningen, the Drents Museum in Assen, the many hunebeds and the Hunebed Museum in Rolde, and Museum de Buitenplaats in Eelde. Both Groningen and Drenthe also have a number of beautiful “borgen” (small castles) that are worth visiting (including those in Leek, Leens, Slochteren, Uithuizen, and Roden).
