A quiet place with an eye for detail. In the Orchard of the former dairy factory Zuidermeer there are 3 cabins, each with its own unique element. Cabin Fire is on the edge but hidden among the greenery, with a large veranda. You have beautiful afternoon evening sunlight and the sunsets are breathtaking. A Slow-Living concept has been chosen with high-quality material use. We live in a great time where everything is possible, but also a time when everything goes fast and we seem to be in a hurry in everything. We invite you to do nothing for a while and live slowly. Come reconnect with nature and especially with yourself and each other. There is a small kitchen with basic necessities and a small but nice bathroom. Besides a refrigerator in the kitchen you will find no electronic appliances. Feng Shui teaches us that if the ratio of materials used is correct it affects our happiness.
Nature and surroundings
The Cabin is set in a lovely large garden with many trees sunny lawns and vistas to the meadows. It is spacious and quiet with the sound of birds and rustling trees. Zuidermeer is a village in the polder of West Friesland. A quiet place, with many walking and cycling paths through the farmlands and meadow bird areas. If you still want to store or just want to find the conviviality of a city, Hoorn and Alkmaar are nearby.

Prima voor een paar nachten. Van de vriendelijke eigenaar mochten we kruiden plukken uit de moestuin. Het bed is fijn en de dikke handdoeken geven een luxe gevoel, heerlijk.
Lekker gewandeld door de polders en langs het Markermeer. Kerkjes, gemalen, rondscharrelende kippen en een trekpontje. In de hoge bomen rond het huisje zitten veel koolmeesjes, verder ook een specht en een ooievaar gezien. En een haas in het lange gras van het weiland achter de sloot. Mooie zonsondergang ook.

Heel schoon en prettig ingericht. Zeer gastvrije en behulpzame verhuurders.
Het was helemaal stil, op de geluiden van de natuur na.
