Nature and surroundings

This accommodation is ideal for people looking for peace and quiet, who enjoy biking (charging stations are available in the covered bike shed) and hiking. The house is located 300 meters from the Natura 2000 area “Buurserzand & Haaksbergerveen.” In the surrounding area, you can enjoy the Witte Veen and the Lankheet. Additionally, you’re just a 10-minute drive from Germany, where there’s much more to discover. You can reach the center of Haaksbergen in 5 minutes, where you’ll find several supermarkets, shops, and restaurants. You can swim in natural waters behind the nature house in the Buursebeek (200 meters) and at the Rutbeek recreational lake. There are several swimming pools in the area: natural swimming pools, outdoor pools, and De Wilder, an indoor pool in Haaksbergen itself. If you’re in the mood for a day of shopping, Enschede and Hengelo are nearby, and Munster comes highly recommended.
