Nature house in Hoogersmilde

Lovely spacious house, even with 8 people. Nice and good kitchen, nice couch. We had problems with the heating (which we really needed) and unfortunately we needed 4 days before someone came and fixed the problem. It really could have been faster. Response from host: Dear Marlies, thank you for your review and nice that you appreciated the house and the surroundings. We received the first report about the heating system on May 16, after which we immediately tried to solve this remotely via WhatsApp; it only became clear on May 19 that there was a technical defect in the central heating boiler. As soon as this was known, we immediately called in a technician and the problem was fixed the same day. We are very sorry that you were inconvenienced by this, because we want to offer our guests a relaxing and unforgettable time in the middle of nature.

Heerlijk ruim huis, ook met 8 personen. Mooie en goede keuken, lekkere bank. We hadden problemen met de verwarming (die we echt nodig hadden) en helaas hadden we 4 dagen nodig voordat er iemand kwam en het probleem verhielp. Dat had echt sneller gekund.

Beste Marlies, bedankt voor jullie review en fijn dat jullie het huis en de omgeving hebben gewaardeerd. De eerste melding over de verwarming ontvingen wij op 16 mei, waarna wij direct via WhatsApp hebben geprobeerd dit op afstand op te lossen; pas op 19 mei werd duidelijk dat er sprake was van een technisch defect aan de cv-ketel. Zodra dit bekend was, hebben wij direct een monteur ingeschakeld en is het probleem dezelfde dag verholpen. Wij vinden het erg vervelend dat jullie hier hinder van hebben ervaren, want wij willen onze gasten juist een ontspannen en onvergetelijke tijd bieden midden in de natuur.

Very quiet location, right into nature when you leave the house. Close to neighbors though, but due to cooler weather they were not around much with children playing outside.

Heel rustig gelegen, gelijk in de natuur als je het huis verlaat. Wel dicht bij buren, maar door koeler weer waren zij niet veel aanwezig met kinderen die buiten speelden.

Small improvements are possible. For example: in the upstairs bathroom, hang an extendable drying rack for towels.

Kleine verbeteringen zijn mogelijk. Bijvoorbeeld: in de badkamer boven een uitschuifbaar droogrek ophangen voor handdoeken.

A quiet place with a large forest nearby.

Difficult to get cooler in the house. There is only 1 hook in the bathroom for towel while 5 of us slept upstairs. Also in the bedroom not really many options to hang out wet towel. Stainless steel pans sometimes a little difficult to use if you're not used to it. Otherwise very complete, good beds and beautiful surroundings.

Moeilijk om het wat koeler te krijgen in huis. Er is in de badkamer maar 1 haakje voor de handdoek terwijl we met z'n 5e boven sliepen. Ook op de slaapkamer niet echt veel opties om natte handdoek uit te hangen. RVS pannen soms wat moeilijk in gebruik als je het niet gewend bent.

Verder erg compleet, goede bedden en mooie omgeving.

Very nice and modern house with all the comforts needed. The house was very warm. Without heating still 21 degrees, doors open etc. Therefore, the fireplace not lit despite that is so cozy.

Heel mooi en modern huis met alle gemakken die nodig zijn. Je loopt zó het bos in, mooie omgeving.

Het huis was wel erg warm. Zonder verwarming aan nog 21 graden, deuren open etc. Daardoor de openhaard niet aangehad ondanks dat zo lekker knus is.
