Our nature house is located in the barn of a traditional 1911 Salland cross-country farmhouse. The cottage has a private entrance. A large garden with terrace. On the ground floor is the living / dining room, shower and toilet. The kitchen has an electric stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer. The upper floor is a loft with a double box spring with down comforters. Upon arrival, the beds are made and there are lovely bathrobes and towels. Kitchen textiles are also provided. The cottage does not have a TV but you can use the wifi network free of charge. On a part of our yard, 8000m2, we keep chickens, sheep and lambs, for this reason pets are not allowed. In the cottage and in the yard it is not allowed to smoke.
Nature and surroundings
You are staying in the outskirts of the beautiful IJssel village of Olst. Directly from the yard start many hiking and cycling routes through the beautiful Salland and along the river IJssel (including nature reserve Duursche Waarden). The woods, many country houses and castles (De Haere) are also in the immediate vicinity. By train (2km away) you are within 15 minutes in the center of the Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zwolle. In the village Olst you will find all basic facilities. In the large garden you can relax and socialize on the terrace in sun or shade. Enjoying the quiet life, the sheep and red and white cattle in the directly adjacent meadows. From all angles you have beautiful views. With a minute or 25 by car I was at the Sallandse heuvelrug for walking but also 10 minutes from this cottage you can walk at the floodplain. In warm weather you can also swim there in a calm water because the ijssel itself does not really lend itself to that ivm the current. The cottage has a full kitchen and further neat and very tastefully decorated. You certainly come here to rest and the landlords are extremely friendly.
Rust, ruimte en natuur in de omgeving, ja dat is hier zeker. Met een minuut of 25 per auto zat ik bij de sallandse heuvelrug om te wandelen maar ook op 10 minuten afstand van dit huisje kan je al mooi wandelen bij de uiterwaarde. Bij warm weer kun je daar ook heerlijk zwemmen in een rustig water want de ijssel zelf leent zich daar niet echt voor ivm de stroming. Het huisje heeft een volwaardige keuken en verder keurig en heel smaakvol ingericht. Je komt hier zeker tot rust en de verhuurders zijn uiterst vriendelijk.

kaat July 24, 2023 General rating:Prima schoon en verzorgd bij aankomst. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Grote tuin. Wat we ontzettend misten waren openslaande deuren naar de tuin. Vanwege de vele muggen konden we eigenlijk geen raam open doen. Twee nachten eerder naar huis gegaan, na twee muggenjachtnachten. Echt jammer dat er geen horren voor de ramen waren.
