The sustainably built cottage adjoins the yard of our residential farm and has unobstructed views over the meadows and a private garden with lots of privacy. On the ground floor you will find the fully equipped kitchen, the sitting and dining area and the bathroom. The living room has doors to the deck where you can see the sun rise in the morning, overlooking the meadows, and to the garden where you can sit in the sun or shade depending on the weather. The bedroom is upstairs and has a double bed, optionally a baby crib can be added. Linen and towels are included in the cleaning fee.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is 500 meters from recreation area the Geestmerambacht, where you can walk, cycle and swim in natural water. The climbing dune in Schoorl is 10 minutes by bike and to the nature reserve the Schoorl dunes is 13 minutes by bike. Cycling to the beach, Schoorl/Hargen/Paal 29, takes 25 minutes. Also the North Holland dune reserve can be reached within half an hour. The typical North Holland provincial cities, Alkmaar, Hoorn , Enkhuizen and Den Helder are easily reached both by bicycle and by car. These cities contain many beautiful things that are definitely worth a visit.

Roos October 17, 2023 General rating:Het huisje van Jacques en Annelies is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien en een heerlijke plek om het duingebied van Schoorl te ontdekken. Er werd adequaat gereageerd op onze verzoeken (warme dekens en een tijdelijke oplossing voor de defecte afwasmachine, die later gemaakt zou worden) en we hebben de weg niet gehoord, dus laat dat je zeker niet tegenhouden!
De lucht in het huisje is relatief droog door het vele hout, dus we raden aan om een aantal luchtzuiverende planten neer te zetten. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad in Schoorldam en zijn lekker uitgewaaid; een aanrader!Nature, peace & environment:De duinen in Schoorl zijn een fantastisch gebied om uit te waaien: de combinatie van duinen, bos en strand is heerlijk!
