The vast silent Dwingeloose Heide then stretches before you! Within cycling distance several national parks and typical Drenthe villages like Vledder, Diever, Dwingeloo, Havelte and Ruinen. In the vast forests are miles of well-maintained hiking and biking trails. On the heathland you can encounter the wandering shepherd with his flock and a sudden encounter with a deer and her young will make your day very special.
