Nature house in Den Hoorn

A really nice place, especially if you like biking!

Hele fijne plek vooral als je van fietsen houdt!

It was a lovely spot, really peaceful and green. We were welcomed warmly and had everything we needed—as far as we’re concerned. Except that the bathroom is a short walk away if you need to go in the middle of the night. We had a really nice midweek getaway; the weather was great too, so it was perfect! It’s a wonderful starting point for biking: Den Hoorn and Den Burg are nearby, and the beach and the woods are also within easy reach. We came by bike, and that’s very convenient—it’s close to the ferry. Texel is such a wonderful place to be anyway—we really enjoyed it!

Het was een heerlijk plekje, echt rustig en groen. Gastvrij ontvangen en van alle gemakken voorzien wat ons betreft. Behalve dan dat het toilet even lopen is als je ‘s nachts moet. We hebben een hele fijne midweek gehad, het weer zat ook mee dus top! Voor fietsen is het prachtig uitgangspunt: Den Hoorn en Den Burg dichtbij, strand ook prima afstand en bos ook. We waren met de fiets gekomen en dit is dan ook gunstig, dichtbij de boot. Texel is sowieso een heerlijke plek om te zijn, genoten!

Think I already said everything at point 1. The wifi connection is not your cup of tea, but with some creativity it is very doable.

Denk dat ik alles al gezegd heb bij punt 1. De wifi verbinding is niet je van het, maar met wat creativiteit is het heel goed te doen.

Due to circumstances, we only stayed there for 1 night. And that has nothing to do with the Pipowagen and/or the beautiful location. It is recommended for anyone who is used to a caravan / camping / tent, because then you have a lot more. And if you are used to an apartment you will also like it, because you have everything right at your fingertips. It's quite luxurious with a separate kitchen, shower and toilet area. Make sure you have a lamp with you for when it's dark and you have to go to the other room. A very big advantage is that you're fairly in the middle of the island, so you're very quickly all over the island.

Door omstandigheden zijn we er maar 1 nacht gebleven. En dat heeft niets te maken met de Pipowagen en/of de prachtige locatie. Het is voor iedereen een aanrader die een caravan / camping / tent gewend is, want dan heb je een heleboel meer. En als je een appartement gewend bent bevalt het je ook, want je hebt alles direct binnen bereik. Het is best luxe met een aparte keuken, douche en toiletruimte.
Zorg dat je een lamp bij je hebt voor als het donker is en je naar de andere ruimte moet.
Een heel groot voordeel is dat je redelijk midden op het eiland zit, dus je bent heel snel over het hele eiland.

The wifi connection was not good in the mobile homes but around it was. The sun shone nicely on it in the morning, which made it rather warm, but also very nice to start the day on the terrace or picnic table.

De wifi verbinding was niet goed in de pipowagen maar eromheen wel. De zon scheen er mooi op in de ochtend, wat het ook wel warm maakte, maar ook heel leuk om op het terrasje of de picknicktafel de dag te beginnen.

Had a very nice stay in the mobile homes. It felt like a luxury overnight stay in nature.

Heel fijn verblijf gehad in de pipowagen. Het voelde als een luxe overnachting in de natuur.
