A completely refurbished keet on the near tip of North Holland, near the Wadden Sea! Fully equipped with a large 2 person bed (1.60x2.00), a table, kitchenette with water, electric cooking and refrigerator.A wonderful place at the back of the large yard of a House. Very suitable for 1 or 2 or more peace seekers. A small tent can be added! Also very suitable for writers house! A terrace with folding table and a fantastic panoramic view!Next to the keet is "the sanitary villa", in which shower (cold water) and dry toilet. But...... in consultation can always once a bathroom with hot shower used in the other accommodation on the yard (The Black Barn or The Barn House)!
Nature and surroundings
The keet is located on the former island of Wieringen 1 km away from the village with some shopping and catering facilities. The Wadden Sea is less than one and a half km away. Wieringen is very suitable for hiking and cycling. At Stroe, 2 km, you will find a picking garden; a little further you will find the Island Museum Jan Lont and the "Heidense Kapel". In Oosterland stands a 12th century church: 'an innovative home for life questions and an inspiring stage'. Concerts and exhibitions are organized here, among other things. 6 km away is the Amstelmeer with swimming and surfing facilities. In Den Oever, a fishing village, the Zeeverse Vismarkt is held every Saturday morning; there are also stalls with local products, From Den Oever, sailing trips on the Wad are organized and Wadlopen. A bicycle bus also departs from Den Oever over the Afsluitdijk, so you can cycle in Friesland. From Den Helder (20km) you can take the ferry to the island of Texel.

Edit May 26, 2023 General rating:Zeer geschikt om tot rust te komen. Bijzonder om de douche en wc in de openlucht te hebben. Uitzicht op de schapen en hazen en met de geluiden van de vele vogels wakker worden.
