Nature house in Dellsbo

The house is over 100 years old, built from real tree trunks, it breathes, never damp or dusty. It has character, is quirky, romantic, definitely not modern clean, but fits like a glove, the windows all south facing with wide views. I was a traveling man (dancer) but felt right at home in this house for the first time. A large kitchen with wood stove and balcony, next to it a large bedroom with a 180cm real Swedish quality super bed. Upstairs a small room with two single beds for the summer, as well as the wooden garden house with a double bed. And another sofa bed in the kitchen. Downstairs I have a shower and a sauna. The garden is completely free, large and runs down to the water. A barn full of wood and bikes. I did not take wifi, I do that in the village when I go shopping, or in case of emergency at the neighbors. It suits the peace the house breathes.

My first experience when I bought the house was the silence, overwhelming, the precipitation of widespread peace, the delight of a passing car, the rustling of the wind through the cotton curtains. The lakes of course, a different one every ten minutes, biking to Dellsbo in the summer for groceries along a rolling and winding road and taking a dip each time. Besides forests lots of open land of farms and the lakes of course. Loppes, second hand stuff sales at home, always something nice to find. The nice mix of farmers, and hippies who settled here in the 70s, always you meet special people with a story.Nice villages, old square farms, cafes and coffee houses in the summer with homemade pastries. The long shadows of a sun that hardly wants to set in summer. The red houses.And in winter the white world, lights, smoking chimneys, walking on the frozen lakes, and endless starry skies. Mosquitoes! No never really bothered
