Our lovely spacious chalet is at the foot of Lemelerberg and has a beautiful view over an old arm of the small river Regge. The chalet has two bedrooms: one with a large bed (160x200), the second has two beds (80x190). In the living area a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a seating area, from which you look towards the Regge. Outside there is a parking space, large garden and a lockable shed where you can park bikes and charge batteries. Optional rental of bed linen and towels: 10 euros per person per stay. We have a washing machine for when you stay longer. Our chalet has an air conditioner for hot summers, and in spring and fall you can heat with it. Per day there is 5 kWh included in the price, for more consumption we charge you 80 cents per kWh. We balance for the entire stay, so if you rent for 7 nights there is 35 kWh included in the price. The consumption of all gas and water is included in the price.
Nature and surroundings
Lovely on the bike via the Giethmener kerkbrugje to the tourist center of Ommen for shopping or the weekly market (4km). On the way back be sure to eat a famous ice cream at Ekkelenkamp! Or cross the Lemelerberg to the cozy Lemele. From the campsite you can walk straight into the forest or stroll along the enchanting landscape of the lower Regge. The sheepfold is only a stone's throw away, see if the shepherdess is 'home'. And if not, you might meet her with the flock on Lemelerberg. Or discover Stekile Oever and the Eerde estate with the rustic Eerder Achterbroek and cycle on to the sand drift the Sahara. Vilsteren is a pretty village from where you can cross the beautiful Vecht and cycle back to Giethmen via Varsen with the ferry across the river. At the campsite there are no other facilities, so there is RUST. Enjoy!

The nature house is a chalet in a park, where they do separate waste, but otherwise don't seem to do much in the way of sustainability. However, the park is located right next to a forest.
