Mini villa with free view over the fields. The garden is situated to the south and furnished with a relax couch, 2 sunbeds and dining table with chairs. Light a fire at the veranda and listen to the birds. The whole house is furnished new with luxury furniture, like a very comfortable couch, new Sony 4K TV with soundbar and direct access to Netflix, Disney Channel en Amazon Prime. Have dinner in style at thge marble table and enjoy a glass of anything in front of the electrical fire place. FYI: The second bedroom is situated on the ground floor next to the living room. Rooms can be seperated by sliding doors The desk will be replaced by a comfortable sofa bed with topper. If you want to make a booking for 2 persons in seperate rooms, then you need to book for 3 persons. Bedlinen and towels are included and for the first evening there will be a basket with wood and matches for a romantic fire at the porch.NB On the first floor one room will remain closed, also the shed will be closed.
Nature and surroundings
From the house you easily walk to the ‘Blote Bienepad’, a hiking/biking trail that leads you through the wader/bird preserve ‘De Weeldpolder and Braakpolder’ and characteristic small villages. Here you will spot many birds and even some rare ones, if you are lucky. Lake IJssel (Nesbos) is at 15 minutes, where you will find beautiful small beaches and also many birds to see. If you like to go to the North Sea beach, Callantsoog is recommended. Or take a boat trip and go seal spotting. Nice towns/villages to visit: Kolhorn, Schagen, Medemblik, Hoorn, Enkhuizen, Alkmaar. And don’t forget to visit Hoenderdall Estate & The Lions Foundation (Your landlord Margriet works here) in Anna Paulowna, an animal park/sanctuary, where lots of animals are accommodated from an emergency situation.
