A unique experience on a tinyhouseboat! The houseboat is located in the lively waterway the Zaan between the reeds. When boats pass by, or in high winds you feel you are on the water. You are rocking along with the waves. From your private deck you can fish or swim in the lovely water and enjoy the nature around you.The boat has a cozy living room, a bathroom with shower cabin and toilet. There is a compact kitchen with 2-burner stove, fridge with small freezer, a mini oven to bake your sandwiches and a Nespresso coffee maker. The houseboat has 2 bedrooms where you can fall asleep nicely by the lapping water. There is a lovely garden where you can chill in the hammock or sit by the cozy fire pit. The houseboat remains during the stay docked at the jetty. The houseboat is not suitable for small children. INCLUDED: bed linen, towels and kitchen linen, toilet paper. And coffee/tea for the first days.

Oostknollendam is a village on the Zaan and is located against the nature reserve Wormer- and Jisperveld. Within walking distance you will find kayak center Arjan Bloem where you can rent a sup. A little further away you will also find Visitor Center De Poelboerderij where regular boat excursions are held through the beautiful Wormer & Jisperveld. On request we put a 2 person kayak (free) at the houseboat with which you can explore the water the Zaan or kayak through the beautiful Jisperveld. Also on request we place a raft for fishermen from which you can fish. The houseboat is located near numerous intersections for cyclists and walkers, including the migratory bird path. Beach, sea, dunes about an hour by bike. Wormerveer NS railway station is 3.1 km from our address. Amsterdam and Alkmaar are about 20 km from our address. OOSTKNOLLENDAM IS LOCATED UNDER THE SMOKE OF SCHIPHOL AIRPORT.
