Nature house in Bergentheim

Washing dishes with this view is definitely not a punishment! Everything is available in the kitchen, the beds are good and two bedrooms have their own sink, which is nice if you are with a group. Supermarket and train station are about 8-10 minutes away.The owners are friendly and quick to respond if you have a question.During our stay it ran a lot, which made it super cozy. I imagine it would be nice to have a larger outdoor table in nice weather.

Afwassen met dit uitzicht is absoluut geen straf! Alles is aanwezig in de keuken, de bedden zijn goed en twee slaapkamers hebben een eigen wastafel, wat fijn is als je met met een groep bent. Supermarkt en treinstation zijn ongeveer 8-10 minuten rijden.

De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en reageren snel als je een vraag hebt.

Tijdens ons verblijf heeft het veel gerend, wat het superknus maakte. Ik kan me voorstellen dat het fijn zou zijn om een grotere buitentafel te hebben bij mooi weer.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage in the woods. We picked the cottage on the large dining table by the window, as six of us spent a weekend playing games and trading pokémon cards. The living space (kitchen, dining table living room) are well laid out, so it felt very spacious. Spent a lot of time outside between showers, early mornings with tea at the picnic table that was just a moment in the sun, two jays that curiously explored the terrace and for the first time were able to admire two green woodpeckers beautifully. Waking up in the morning to the many birds, including the pied flycatcher! A total of 32 species of birds seen and/or heard, squirrels and beautiful beetles and butterflies. It was great!

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit mooie huisje in het bos. We hebben het huisje uitgezocht op de grote eettafel bij het raam, omdat we met zes personen een weekend lang spelletjes hebben gespeeld en pokémonkaarten hebben geruild. De leefruimte (keuken, eettafel woonkamer) zijn goed ingedeeld, waardoor het heel ruim aanvoelde. Tussen de buien door veel buiten geweest, 's ochtends vroeg met thee aan de picknicktafel die precies even in de zon stond, twee gaaien die nieuwsgierig het terras verkenden en voor het eerst twee groene spechten prachtig kunnen bewonderen.

's Ochtends wakker worden met de vele vogels, waaronder de bonte vliegenvanger! In totaal 32 soorten vogels gezien en/of gehoord, eekhoorntjes en prachtige kevers en vlinders. Het was top!

Very nice, spacious, yet cozy cottage surrounded by the feeling of forest. Many trees around the house and therefore also squirrels and many birds seen / heard. However, to really take a walk in the woods you have to take the car or bike unfortunately, because the immediate area is mostly pasture, which we did not know. We walked to Hardenberg, but on the way back there was no bus or cab to be had in the afternoon (16:00), so we had to walk back another 7.5 km. Fortunately there are plenty of places reasonably close by where you can go for nature, but do bring your bike! Great cottage if you want to relax for a weekend.

Erg fijn, ruim, maar toch knus huisje omringt door het gevoel van bos. Veel bomen om het huis en daardoor ook eekhoorntjes en veel vogels gezien/gehoord. Om echt een boswandeling te maken moet je echter wel de auto of fiets pakken helaas, want de directe omgeving is vooral veel weiland, wat wij niet wisten. Wij zijn naar Hardenberg gewandeld, maar op de terugweg was er geen bus of taxi te krijgen in de namiddag (16:00), dus moesten we nog 7,5 km teruglopen. Gelukkig zijn er genoeg plekken redelijk dichtbij waar je naartoe kan voor natuur, maar wel de fiets mee dus! Prima huisje als je lekker een weekendje wil relaxen.
