Nature house in Amerongen

In summer the cows graze in the meadow, the duck and coot swim in the ditch and sometimes you see a deer or a stork!With the sound of a cuckoo, lapwing or owl you experience nature very close! From the conservatory or from the veranda you can see the sun come up in the morning.You can use the large garden to find a spot in the sun or shade, and relax on one of the lounge chairs!Het cottage is suitable for 2 persons and is fully equipped.Kitchen, full inventory, microwave, oven, 2 burner induction hob, Nespresso machine, kettle (incl. coffee / tea).Bathroom, rain shower, sink, toilet.Bath, bed, kitchen linen included.The flat screen TV has no channels but there is a DVD player with a wide choice of DVDs.On the mezzanine is a made 2 bed.No Wifi.Pets not allowed.The wood stove is not in use, heating by CV.

The cottage is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park with its many castles and the Lower Rhine River. You can enjoy cycling or walking in the woods or on the dike of the Lower Rhine between Amerongen and Wijk bij Duurstede. The picturesque villages of Amerongen and Wijk bij Duurstede with their narrow (shopping) streets are reminiscent of days gone by! In addition, there are many restaurants and cozy terraces there. Amerongen is known for its "Tobacco Growing Museum" and "Amerongen Castle" with a tea shop and guided tours. Wijk bij Duurstede is traditionally a trading town with a small harbor. A visit to the "Cherry Museum" or "Kasteel Duurstede" is worthwhile! National park Utrechtse Heuvelrug has several viewpoints, as well as a day recreation area. The cities of Amersfoort and Utrecht with its many canals and old city centers are half an hour away( by car)In short, plenty of beautiful things to experience in the area!
