Camping with a little bit of luxury. In beautiful Drenthe near fortified town Coevorden and the Pieterpad hiking trail is our luxury Trekkerstenten Kalluum and Rustaagh on our mini campsite. Between the apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees and all our beautiful greenery overlooking the water. The campsite is located directly on the Stieltjeskanaal. The tent is brand new and 4.5 meters in diameter, is suitable for max 2 persons. It has 2 chairs, a table, kettle, electricity and of course 2 single beds that are already made up for you. For the chilly days there is a heater to sit nice and warm and for the hot days a fan. At the campsite you can order a meal, a cool drink or an ice cream. Showers work on €0.50 coins for 5min and for a fee we can do your laundry for you. Under the tarp roof you can sit at the picnic tables.

Although I had rented a simple two-person trekking tent, it is more than enough to sleep here for a few nights. Nice beds with a lovely comforter, more than fine Wifi (also not entirely unimportant), a kettle, fan and night light. Just the bare necessities, but more than enough luxury for me.

Hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar met een kopje koffie. Gezellige kleine camping waar je makkelijk met elkaar in contact komt. De trekkerstent vond ik prima voor een nacht. Ik verbleef er 2 nachten en miste wat privacy. De tent staat nl vlakbij het toilet/was gebouw waardoor er veel geloop was.
Fijn dat je er 's avonds kan eten.

Het Drentse landschap is prachtig om in te wandelen en/of te fietsen. De camping ligt tussen het Stieltjeskanaal en een weg in. De trekkerstent stond aan de kant van de weg waardoor ik moest wennen aan af en toe langsrazend verkeer. Het was fijn om aan het Kanaal te genieten van het mooie uitzicht.
