Under the oak trees ... where in spring the sun rises on the terrace and in autumn the tapping of falling acorns provides a cozy feeling. This cozy Tiny house was built in 2020, based on a stone barn in the back of a vast green garden. It is 42 m2 in size, contains a bedroom with double bed, a (work) room where a crib can be placed on request, a living room, bathroom and kitchen. As such, "Under the Oaks" is perfect for 2 adults and possibly a child. The accommodation has its own front door and entrance with parking in front of the door. Bed linen and towels are included. Coffee, tea and some basic ingredients are waiting for you!
Nature and surroundings
From the accommodation you walk on all sides directly into the forest, which provides an almost direct connection to the vast forests of the Utrecht Ridge. An ideal location for mountain biking, cycling and hiking! In a 10-minute walk through the forest and along the vineyard Hoog Beek en Royen you walk to the cozy center of Zeist, which is equipped with all facilities. Here you will find well-known (fashion) stores, but also local boutiques, lunchrooms and restaurants. Feel like looking for city life? At 3 minutes walking distance from the accommodation you will find the bus stop. By bus you can be at the Neude, the center of Utrecht, within 20 minutes. A 5-minute drive away is the Driebergen-Zeist train station, with a direct train connection to Utrecht Central Station. Other beautiful places nearby (reachable within 20 minutes) are Amersfoort, Wijk bij Duurstede, the Henschotermeer, the Soesterduinen and other nature reserves. Tips can be found in the cottage!
