The ideal place to relax and (re)discover the Flemish Ardennes. The vacation house is suitable for 2 to maximum 10 people and consists of 2 units. Each cottage has a separate garden for cozy dining, enjoying some reading or afterglow at sunset. There is also a common area, where a barbecue grill is at your disposal, or where you can fraternize at nightfall, with a local beer in your hand, at the campfire under the stars.

The Flemish Ardennes, the Tuscany of Flanders, is THE region to explore by bicycle, on foot or even on horseback. Rich in various hiking trails, open plains, forests, nature reserves and spicy mountain bites, the region has not stolen the nickname "hiking paradise". The area is also brimming with stops to quench your thirst or enjoy a delicious meal. Those who want to discover as much of the region as possible can also rent a Vespa or a 2 HP. There is something for everyone. Oudenaarde, also known as the center of the Tour of Flanders and other spring classics, is only a stone's throw away from Dikkelvenne. The city is saturated with culture: from museums and heritage to breweries and annual festivities. Within walking distance of the house on the waterfront, you arrive at the right bank of the Scheldt, which turns into the nature reserve De Kaaihoeve. Here you can spot various water birds during the breeding season and have a nice picnic.
