Nature house in Gees

Very comfortable cottage with a heavenly view over beautiful Drenthe field land, directly adjacent to a very sympathetic pig farm, where the pigs can behave as naturally as possible! The facilities are top and very complete, especially the kitchen is very well equipped, with a wide choice of herbs for example. Excellent chairs and sofas that are very pleasant to read a book on. The beds were very good, nice large bathroom and pleasant two toilets both upstairs and downstairs. And sufficient and pleasant quality bed and bath linen. Ample choice of outdoor seating in a beautifully maintained all around garden. Upon entering it was very chilly, but the (among other things floor) heating made it comfortable very quickly. At the dining table, the curtains could be a little thicker, because of the bright sun that glares during breakfast, which is also a luxury!

Zeer comfortabel huisje met een paradijselijk uitzicht over prachtig Drentse akker land, direct grenzend aan een zeer sympathieke varkenshouderij, waar de varkens zich zo natuurlijk mogelijk kunnen gedragen!
De voorzieningen zijn top en zeer volledig, vooral de keuken is zeer goed geoutilleerd, met een ruime keuze aan kruiden bijvoorbeeld. Uitstekende stoelen en banken waar heel prettig op een boek kan worden gelezen. Ook prima leesverlichting.
De bedden waren zeer goed, fijne grote badkamer en prettig twee toiletten zowel boven als beneden. En voldoende en prettige kwaliteit bed- en bad linnen.
Ruime keuze aan buiten zitplaatsen in een mooie onderhouden rondom tuin. Die vanaf de weg toch een mooie beschutte plek blijkt.

Bij binnenkomst was het erg fris, maar de ( onder andere vloer-)verwarming maakte het snel comfortabel.
Bij de eettafel zouden de gordijnen iets dikker mogen zijn, vanwege de felle zon die tijdens het ontbijt wat verblindt; wat overigens dus tevens een luxe is!

Very quiet, far and many views of beautiful landscape. Nice that it is a corner house with wide views of nature. Fantastic bike rides made in authentic Drents landscape with beautiful village centers. Not too far from available stores, even by bike, but especially not by car. The area is really a feast with varied landscape. Both arable land, and forest, low moor and swampy water, but also pieces of heath. Through it a few canals with bike paths on the towpaths!~ We did not walk, but passed several longer hiking trails. Also highly recommended for brisk walkers is our impression.The villages are characteristic, with lots of ímport' is our impression. Much variety in the immediate and more distant surroundings. Although there is - not visible - a cottage park behind, gave us this house more of a separate experience.

Heel rustig, ver en veel uitkijk op prachtig landschap. Fijn dat het een hoekhuisje met breed uitzicht op natuur is.
Fantastische fietstochten gemaakt in authentiek Drents landschap met mooie dorpskernen.
Niet te ver van beschikbare winkels, zelfs niet op de fiets, maar vooral niet met de auto.
De omgeving is werkelijk een feest met afwisselend landschap. Zowel akkerland, als bos, laagveen en drassige waterpartijen, maar ook stukken hei. Daardoor heen een paar trekvaarten met fietspaden op de jaagpaden!~
We hebben niet gewandeld, maar verschillende langere wandelroutes gepasseerd. Ook zeer aan te raden voor stevige wandelaars is onze indruk.
De dorpen zijn karakteristiek, met veel ímport' is onze indruk. Veel afwisseling in de directe en wat verder gelegen omgeving.

Ondanks dat er - niet zichtbaar - een vakantiehuisjes park achter ligt, gaf ons dit huisje meer een apart staande beleving.

A beautiful cottage equipped with all amenities. The fully enclosed garden is very nice with children and dogs. The area is nice for walking or cycling. We enjoyed.

Een mooi huisje dat van alle gemakken is voorzien. De volledig afgesloten tuin is erg prettig met kinderen en honden.
De omgeving is leuk om te wandelen of fietsen. Wij hebben genoten.

A lovely quiet area. The cottage has a garden where you can sit and look out over the fields. With also enough space for children to play nice.

Een heerlijk rustige omgeving. Waar je leuk kan wandelen in de buurt.
Het huisje heeft een tuin waar je lekker kan zitten en over de velden kan kijken. Met ook genoeg ruimte voor kinderen om lekker te spelen.

What an incredibly nice house! For 5 people more than enough space. The cozy living room with kitchen is completed by the lovely wood stove that we used daily.

Wat een ontzettend fijn huis! Voor 5 personen meer dan genoeg ruimte. De gezellige woonkamer met keuken wordt afgemaakt door de heerlijke houtkachel die we dagelijks hebben gebruikt.
