Ria and Frans’ farmhouse is located in the countryside outside Breda, on the outskirts of the parish village of Effen. In the detached carriage house on their property, they have a cozy vacation home that sleeps six people. The cottage has a floor area of approximately 120 m² and features, on the ground floor, an entryway, a spacious kitchen-living room, a bathroom, a toilet, and a double bedroom. In addition, the loft has been converted into an extra bedroom with four single beds. Bedding, towels, and final cleaning are included in the price; please leave used towels and bedding in the bathroom. Upon departure, the dishwasher must be empty and the oven clean; trash bins must be emptied into the outdoor trash cans. Pets are not allowed. Smoking indoors is not permitted. By bike—which you can safely store in our bike shed—you’ll be at the Liesbos, the Pannenhoef, and the Galderse Meren in no time. The Breda bike route network also runs practically right next to our house. And if you’d like to visit the historic city centers of Breda and Antwerp, our vacation home is an excellent base. Our home is located just six kilometers outside the center of Breda, a city known for its Burgundian charm. Bus line 115 has a stop just 100 meters from our home and runs every half hour during the day. This means you can reach the city center or the central station in no time, whether by car or by bus. Thanks to the nearby bus stop and the A16 highway on-ramp, you can also easily and comfortably visit Antwerp’s city center by both public transportation and car. Just good and well-equipped. A great location with a beautiful view, a friendly host, and it’s also conveniently located near Breda.
