Nature house in Alvados

A lovely house and everything perfectly taken care of. Before we left we received all the necessary information about the house and possible trips in the area. Especially the videos we received proved to be clear and useful. The house is located on a slope, you can enjoy the tranquility and views over the valley. An attractive natural area surrounds Alvados. The house and the decor is modern and breathes quality, wonderful to stay there. It is fully equipped, such as complete kitchen, plenty of cooking utensils, coffee makers, etc. The beds are lovely and it is nice to have two bathrooms. Alvados is a nice starting point to go to Batalha, Coimbra or Lisbon. But even closer by there is plenty to find, such as beautiful caves. Or enjoy a delicious dinner at restaurant Terruja in the village. And the owners of this house try to please you as much as possible, with good communication and quick responses.

Een heerlijk huis en alles perfect verzorgd. Voordat we vertrokken kregen we al de nodige informatie over het huis en mogelijke uitstapjes in de omgeving. Vooral de filmpjes die we kregen bleken duidelijk en handig. Het huis ligt op een helling, je kunt er genieten van de rust en uitzicht over het dal. Een aantrekkelijk natuurgebied omringt Alvados.
Het huis en de inrichting is modern en ademt kwaliteit, heerlijk om daar te verblijven. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien, zoals complete keuken, voldoende kookgerei, koffie-apparaten, enz. De bedden zijn heerlijk en het is fijn om twee badkamers te hebben.
Alvados is een mooi startpunt om naar Batalha, Coimbra of Lissabon te gaan. Maar ook dichter in de buurt is van alles te vinden, zoals fraaie grotten. Of geniet van een heerlijk diner bij restaurant Terruja in het dorp.
En de eigenaren van dit huis proberen het je zoveel mogelijk naar de zin te maken, met goede communicatie en snelle reacties.

The natural area surrounding Alvados is of a special quality. Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros is a special limestone area with many special caves. But also for the hiker there is much to enjoy or beautiful car routes through the area. For everyone there is something to do and discover.

Het natuurgebied dat Alvados omringt is van een bijzondere kwaliteit. Parque Natural das Serras de Aire e Candeeiros is een bijzonder kalksteengebied met veel bijzondere grotten. Maar ook voor de wandelaar is er veel te genieten of van mooie autoroutes door het gebied. Voor ieder is er wat te doen en te ontdekken.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in and around this wonderful house! The house is located in a beautiful, quiet and beautiful green place at the end of a valley in a kind of bowl. The house is very complete and very practically furnished with a detailed description of everything! The pool is lovely and also outside everything has been thought of in terms of furniture. The house is clean and tidy and the owners very hospitable and helpful. The communication is smooth and pleasant! In the house you will also find a list of suggestions for food, drinks and sightseeing. We had a great time, even with less weather, in for example Lisbon, Coimbra, Alcobaça, Batalha and Nazaré. In short, a lovely relaxing vacation spot for those seeking rest!

We hebben 2 heerlijke weken beleefd in en rondom dit heerlijke huis! Het huis ligt op een schitterende, stille en mooi groene plek aan het einde van een dal in een soort kom. Het huis is heel compleet en zeer praktisch ingericht met van alles een uitgebreide beschrijving! Het zwembad is heerlijk en ook buiten is aan alles gedacht wat betreft meubilair. Het huis is schoon en netjes en de eigenaren erg gastvrij en hulpvaardig. De communicatie verloopt vlot en prettig! In het huis vind je ook een lijst met suggesties voor eten, drinken en bezienswaardigheden. We hebben ons, ook met minder weer, erg goed vermaakt in bijvoorbeeld Lissabon, Coimbra, Alcobaça, Batalha en Nazaré. Kortom een heerlijk ontspannen vakantieplekje voor rustzoekers!

This was our 2nd stay at this nature house. After our very positive experience last year we found it more than worth repeating. Again we enjoyed the house with all its facilities and the great environment. The house is clean and fully equipped. Its central location makes it perfect for planning days out and then coming back to enjoy the surroundings in peace and to enjoy, if desired, the pool. The cottage is situated so that from the living room, bedrooms and pool it gives a beautiful view of the valley with beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Dit was ons 2de verblijf in dit natuurhuisje. Na ons zeer positieve ervaring van vorig jaar vonden wij het meer dan voor herhaling vatbaar. Ook deze keer was het weer genieten van het huis met al zijn faciliteiten en de geweldige omgeving. Het huis is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Door de centrale ligging is het perfect om dagjes uit te plannen en om daarna weer terug te komen in alle rust van de omgeving en te kunnen genieten, indien gewenst, van het zwembad. Het huisje is zo gesitueerd dat het vanuit de huiskamer, slaapkamers en zwembad een prachtig uitzicht geeft op het dal met mooie zonsopkomsten en ondergangen.
