Charming cottage within walking distance of the boat, so you don't need to bring a car. The cottage is located on the quiet rugged side of Texel. Within walking distance is the sea and the Mok Bay which is a unique nature reserve for bird lovers. In the evening you have a great chance to see the sunset from our own dune.

Within walking distance is the Mok Bay, the Petten and the Horsmeertjes. From and on our own property many birds and other animals can be seen. Harrier, buzzards, woodpeckers, kestrels and if you are lucky our barn owl. The southwest point is unknown to many tourists and has one of the most beautiful deserted beaches with vast dunes and wide views. You walk from the property directly to the beach and the sea.

Space fine, beds lovely, stove and hot water working adequately even in cold winter week; simplicity that appeals. Visibly in need of maintenance, though.
